Music Genome Project

I really liked the music genome project. It was a good way to learn about how to create transitions in GarageBand. I also learned a lot about iMovie. I learned what formats iMovie would allow you to use. I also learned how to use transitions a lot better. I had never converted movies using Zamzar and that will probably be useful in the future as well. I did not like this project because it was a lot of work. I think it should have been two separate projects: one to make the GarageBand and one to make the iMovie. Overall I thought this project was pretty interesting. It was fun to do and it required enough work to occupy all of the time we had in class.

Video Conversions

I got five or six videos converted today and I thought this was fairly productive. I do not think that it was the school network slowing us down, but it was Zamzar going slow. I think that Zamzar takes care of the paying customers first and gives them a faster downloading speed, so it goes slower for me. It still took around ten minutes to convert each video and another ten minutes to get the e-mail. For the time it took to download these videos (and the four or five times I had to shovel my driveway), I think five or six videos is pretty productive. The one thing I liked about doing this at home was that Vevo was unblocked so I could use their music videos. I thought I did a lot for my iMovie project.
